Sick

I cannot go to teach today

I have a fever burning high
An eye infection in my right eye
I cough and cough and cough some more
My throat is burning it's so sore.
I'm hot then cold; I have the chills
My body aches from head to heels.
I eat, but have no appetite
I sleep, sleep, sleep, both day and night.
Oh wait. What's that you say?
You say today's a summer day?
Then why, I say, outside's so cold and gray?
And why am I sick, too sick to play?
